Summit Commercial Solutions is introducing a 48‑hour service‑level agreement (SLA) for delivering small‑group employee benefits quotes, supported by expanded access to additional national and regional benefits carriers. The SLA applies across Canada, excluding Quebec. Summit remains a fully independent brokerage that shops multiple insurers to curate value and coverage for clients. See our values and transparency commitments on the About Us and How We Get Paid pages.

A complete set of market results from the carriers canvassed for your group, with at least one firm or indicative quote (subject to underwriting and final enrollment).

-
Where carrier responses are pending beyond 48 hours, Summit will deliver all received results plus a status update and estimated timing for remaining markets.
Expanded carrier market access
Summit has broadened access to additional benefits carriers to enhance competitiveness and plan choice for small employers (carrier availability varies by province; Quebec excluded). As an independent broker, Summit compares multiple insurers without bias to align coverage, price, and service with each client’s priorities. FAQs
Does the SLA change how Summit gets compensated?
No. Compensation follows our standard, transparent model. See How We Get Paid.
What if my submission is incomplete?
We will acknowledge receipt, outline missing items, and start the clock once the full data set is received.
Are mid‑market or experience‑rated groups eligible?
Not under this SLA. We can still market these groups thoroughly; timelines depend on carrier requirements.
Does the SLA include plan implementation and employee onboarding?
No. The SLA covers quote delivery only. Implementation timelines depend on carrier processing and final enrollments, which Summit coordinates for you.
Can Summit assist outside of employee benefits?
Yes. We advise on a full range of commercial coverages (e.g., liability, property, cyber). See Business Insurance and our Blog for sector resources.
